Hi! I’m Amanda
I’ve been painting since I was 18, when I first created a series of watercolour sketches of historical Coventry, inspired by my mum, Patricia, a travel courier who saw the need for meaningful souvenirs. That spark led me to paint iconic scenes across the UK, from Stratford-upon-Avon to Canterbury, and even innovate a marble/stone paint finish that I patented.
Now, in Xerta, I’ve found a new home for my art. Galeria de Xerta is my dream to create and teach, offering commissioned paintings, sketches, mosaics, and sculptures that celebrate the beauty of the Baix Ebre.
I’m inspired by Catalan artists like Gaudí, whose inventive use of recycled materials resonates with my love for sustainability. Join me in this vibrant community space where art and connection flourish!
